Blue Tomato Team Rider Ville Uotila just started to film at some urban spots:
“After doing some comps I finally got the chance to start film. I’m filming with my buddy Juuso Laivisto this year and we wanna film all the urban stuff somewhere in Finland this year. We really had pretty strong start already. Here’s a photo from our first spot. It was about 6 meters drop from the rail. A lot of pain but we both got a few good ones and we both were stoked after the day.”

Bei den ersten Youth Olympic Games 2012 in Innsbruck gelang Georgi ein guter 13. Platz.
Nach langer Vorbereitung schaffte er die Qualifikation und kam ins Finale, indem es dann leider nicht fürs Treppchen reichte!
Nach langer Vorbereitung schaffte er die Qualifikation und kam ins Finale, indem es dann leider nicht fürs Treppchen reichte!
Viktor hingegen schaffte es beim Plan P Contest nicht nur aufs Podest (ein sagenhafter 1. Platz), er gewann sogar noch den Preis für den “Best Trick” mit einem Frontflip out of the Poljam.
Dadurch sicherte er sich einen Platz in den Finals beim Pleasure Jam im nächsten Jahr.
Des weiteren war Viktor auch beim TTR O’Neill Evolution in Davos mit dabei und obwohl “nur” ein 62. Platz dabei rauskam, qualifizierte er sich für die TTR Championchips in Oslo!
Als nächster Stop wird dann das Burton European Open in Laax anvisiert, wo er in der Disziplin Slopestyle an den Start gehen wird!

On January the 15th 2012 the Blue Tomato Kings Park has been flooded by flashlights! The reason for it has been the 1st Blue Tomato Shooting Time “Rock the Kingdom”! No freestyle addict didn’t let this opportunity let go and showed their best tricks at beautiful bluebird! Professional photographers were there and shot amazing pics!

Unsere Blue Tomato Rookies Tobi und Max Gründwald sind fleißig unterwegs! Während Max sich momentan lieber dem Powdern auf der Zugspitze widmet, fuhr Tobi ein klasse Ergebnis beim Laax Open Rail Contest ein: Ein sensationeller 2. Platz!
Dieser Rail Contest war eigentlich als “Junior Open” angedacht, jedoch waren enorme Schneemassen Schuld daran, dass der Contest weiter
runter ins Tal verlegt werden musste und in Folge dessen als Rail Contest abgehalten wurde. Verständlich, da man bei Windeschwindigkeiten über 100 km/h lieber nicht in der Gondel umher gefegt wird….
Die meisten Starter (82 von 120) waren auch nicht enttäuscht, als der Pipe-Contest zur Jib-Session an einem Tag umgemodelt wurde! Gejudged wurde nach dem True Overall Prinzip – der Gesamteindruck aller gezeigten Tricks wurde gewertet, die Punkte zählen sowohl als Swiss Snowboard Points als auch für das TTR Ranking.
Tobi Grünwald, der sich bei den unter 13-Jährigen nur Samuel Camenzind (SUI) geschlagen geben musste, gelang ein hervorragender 2. Platz! Ride on!

To keep your snowboard in good shape, so that it always provides you with what you need and want, with perfect grip and lots of speed, you need to do a little workout from time to time! Grinding the edges and waxing the base of your board, that’s what you need to do! Therefor you need some special equipment, equipment which can make your time in the park and the powder so much better! So this is not something to be stingy with, you would regret it!

Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard Day, 18. Dezember im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai, ein voller Erfolg!
Die Bedingungen am vergangenen Sonntag waren perfekt, viel Schnee und Sonne, da konnte der Tag doch nur perfekt werden..Und über 30 Kinder nutzten an diesem Tag die Chance des gratis Snowboard Kurses der Blue Tomato Snowboard Schule oder – für die Freestyler – das gratis Coaching im Park.
Vom Blue Tomato Shop Schladming machten sich die hochmotivierten Snowboardgruppen auf zur Planai.
Auf abgesperrtem Gelände, gleich neben der Blue Tomato Snowboard Schule, konnten die Anfänger mit Hilfe der Blue Tomato Snowboard Lehrer schon nach wenigen Stunden die ersten Erfolge auf dem Brett spüren. Dank dem Burton Testmaterial war es auch für jeden Snowboard Neuling kein Problem das Snowboard an- oder abzuschnallen.
Bei den Fortgeschrittenen gab es eine Pistengruppe, die zusammen mit einem Blue Tomato Snowboard Lehrer die Piste unsicher gemacht haben und zum anderen eine Freestyle Gruppe, die sich im Horsefeathers Superpark ausgetobt haben. Mit Hilfe des Coaching konnten sie sich ohne Probleme über die Boxen und Kicker wagen.
Neben her lief noch der Plan P Contest, bei dem sich sicherlich ein paar Parkfahrer den ein oder anderen Trick beim aufkommenden Snowboard Profi, Max Grünwald abgeschaut haben, der auch anschließend noch dazu gestoßen ist. 
Als krönender Abschluss dieses erfolgreichen Tages wurden die müden aber stolzen Gesichter mit einem Goodie Bag, gesponsert von Burton und Blue Tomato, und einer Urkunde belohnt. Aber nicht nur das, es wurde auch das Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard unter allen teilnehmenden Kids verlost. Der Gewinner war sichtlich glücklich über das coole Brett mit dem er ab jetzt die Pisten und den Park unsicher machen kann!
Aber nicht nur die Kinder waren zufrieden mit ihrer Leistung, auch die Blue Tomato Coaches und Snowboard Lehrer waren begeistert von der Lernfreudigkeit der Kinder und freuen sich schon jetzt schon wieder auf den nächsten Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard Day.
Dank der Unterstützung der Planai Bergbahnen und zahlreichen Helfern war dieser Event überhaupt möglich und wurde für alle Beteiligten zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.
