On the past weekend, the QParks Tour Finals went down on the Dachstein Glacier! Both Freeskiers and Snowboarders had to fight not only each other, but also the bad weather conditions. Because of wind, rain and fog, the planned slopestyle contest on the Pro Kickerline couldn’t be held, so the guys from QParks decided to move it to the Pro Railline instead. Our Teamriders brought home FOUR places on the podium! Congratulations to Roli Scharmer‘s first place and Flo Galler‘s second place in the Snowboard Men category! For the skiers, Martin Hauck and Daniel Walchhofer were successful in the Men and Rookie category and claimed a third place each!
And because the Horsefeathers Rock the Top was the Final of the QParks Tour, the Overall winners were crowned, too! Huge congratulations go out to Flo Galler for winning the Overall title Snowboard Men! Martin Hauck just missed the top spot and got second in the Freeski Men, just like Daniel Walchhofer did in the Rookie Overall Ranking, big congratulations to both of you, anyway!
Roli Scharmer (4th), Viktor Szigeti (5th), Georgi Mihaylov (9th) and Dominik Wagner (18th) also placed well in the Snowboard Men Overall ranking, so did Max (8th) and Tobi (15th) Grünwald in the Rookie and Lisa Veith (5th) in the Girls Overall ranking. Alex Moser secured a 7th place in the Freeski Men and Stefanie De Menech the 11th place in the Freeski Girls Overall ranking.
Congratulations again to all our Teamriders and we are already looking forward to next years QParks Snowboard and Freeski Tour!

Werfen wir einen Blick zurück auf den Spätherbst 2010, als die erste QParks Tour in der Geschichte des Freestyles im legendären Pleasure Jam im Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein eingeläutet wurde. Seitdem ging alles schnell und die QParks Events konnten sich entwickeln und wurden fast über Nacht in eine Reihe von Veranstaltungen umgesetzt, die gleichermaßen Freeskier und Snowboarder aus der Szene begeistern! Das Konzept war einfach: Jeder kann teilnehmen und alle bekommen eine Chance. Und schließlich ist die Zeit gekommen: nach 10 großen Wettbewerben in einigen der besten Terrain-Parks in Europa, sind wir auf den Höhepunkt der QParks Tour am Dachstein gespannt! Am 7. Und 8. Mai werden die besten 50 Rider der Tour Rangliste gegeneinander, Kopf an Kopf, battlen. Es ist schwer zu sagen, wie es zu Ende geht, aber eins kann man sicherlich sagen: in diesem Jahr wird der Freestyle Zirkus mit einem sprengenden Event am Ende der Saison bereichert werden!

Big Showdown im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai – Plan P 2011 und unsere Teamrider standen ganz oben auf dem Podesttreppchen!
Jeder der sich an diesem Samstag auf den Weg in den Horsefeathers Superpark Planai zum Plan P 2011 machte, wurde mit genialen Conditions auf allen Linien belohnt! Strahlender Sonnenschein, perfekte Temperaturen und ein wirklich sicker Park waren die Zutaten für einen edlen Auftakt der QParks Tour im neuen Jahr! Der Plan P Contest 2011 ging am 29.01. bei Bluebird und einem perfekt geshapten Park Set-Up im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai über die Bühne. Über 70 motivierte Freeskier und Snowboarder battelten sich um ein fettes Preisgeld von insgesamt EUR 3000.- sowie um jede Menge Sachpreise von Horsefeathers, Blue Tomato und Adidas Eyewear!
Und unsere Blue Tomato Teamrider rockten die Show. So belegten in der Kategorie Snowboard Men Viktor Szigeti den ersten Platz, Lisa Veith wurde bei den Girls Snowboard Dritte und bei den Freeskiern räumten die Männer mit Alex Moser ( 1.) und Tobi Tritscher (3.) gleich richtig ab und auch Stefanie De Menech sicherte sich einen guten 2. Platz!

Big Showdown at the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai – Plan P 2011- and our Blue Tomato teamrider stood on the highest place on the podium!
Anyone who got up the Planai on this beautiful Saturday for the Plan P, the first tour stop of the QParks Tour 2011, was rewarded with epic conditions! Bright sunshine, perfect temperature and a sick setup of the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai made everyone happy. So no wonder we’ve seen just smiling faces all around. The conditions for the Plan P 2011 couldn’t have been any better: bluebird, a perfectly shaped setup and high class freestyle action! Over 70 highly motivated snowboarders and freeskiers rocked the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai and battled for a nice prize money of EUR 3000.- and loads of goodies from Horsefeathers, Blue Tomato and Adidas Eyewear!
And our Blue Tomato Teamrider rocked the show. So got in the category Snowboard Men Viktor Szigeti first place, Lisa Veith was third in the category Girls Snowboard and in the freeski category the men really made it with Alex Moser ( 1.) and Tobi Tritscher (3.) and also Stefanie De Menech saved a great 2. place!

Die Zeit der tonnenweise Kekse- und Punschvernichtung ist vorbei, Leute wachst eure Boards und Skis, die Contestsaison 2011 ist eingeläutet! Am 29.01.2011 geht es für Freeskier und Snowboarder im Horsefeathers Super Park Planai beim Plan P wieder richtig zur Sache!
Den Auftakt im neuen Jahr macht am 29.01.2011 der Plan P im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai. Als gleichzeitig zweiter Tourstop der QParks Tour haben hier alle Snowboarder und Freeskier nicht nur die Möglichkeit, fette Preisgelder und Sachpreise abzustauben, alle haben außerdem die Chance wertvolle Punkte für das QParks Tourfinale im Mai zu sammeln! Für alle Snowboarder heißt es außerdem auch TTR Punkte absahnen, denn der Plan P Contest ist zugleich auch ein Swatch TTR 2* Event! Natürlich unterstützt auch Blue Tomato den Shred-Nachwuchs tatkräftig und ist als Sponsor wieder mit von der Partie.

The QParks Tour starts into the new year with its 2nd tour stop, the Plan P contest at the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai. All Freeskiers and Snowboarders not only have the chance to grab a sick prize money and masses of goodies, all riders have also the opportunity to collect important points for the QParks Tour final in May! Beside that all snowboarders can gather sweet TTR points, as the contest is also a Swatch TTR 2* event! Of course also Blue Tomato supports the new shred blood and is sponsoring this event.

Therefore we have the best requirements for starting a freestyle tour – we put our heads together and decided to make the next move to offer young and talented riders out there a spring board for a carrier as a freestyle pro. From now on the QParks Tour is reality and we are looking forward to a series of cool events – now it’s up to you to show your skills and draw attention to the scene. It might sound a bit banal but one thing about the QParks tour is crystal clear: action speaks louder than words!
