Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und angenehmen Temperaturen trafen sich insgesamt 68 super motivierte Snowboarder und Freeskier am Wochenende vom 7. + 8. Mai im Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein für das große QParks Tour Finale.
In einem top-besetzten Starterfeld boten sich die Rider massive Head-to-Head Battles und kämpften nicht nur um den Tagessieg sondern auch um die Krone der gesamten QParks Tour! Der feine Freestyle Tag fand seinen gemütlichen Abschluss mit chilliger Musik und einem feinen Barbecue am Ramsau Beach, wo die Tages und Tour Sieger ihren Triumph feierten!
Obwohl die Contest-Tage für Snowboarder und Freeskier getrennt waren, hatten die Rider eines gemeinsam. Sie kamen schon früh in den Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein und bestaunten das Contest Set-Up, das von der Shapecrew rund um Parkdesigner Andy Röck perfekt präpariert wurde.
Dieses bestand aus einem Treebonk oder Down Rail, 2 Kicker Combos, einer Red Bull Funbox und der Special Wallride Endsection. Bei frühlingshaftem Wetter mit strahlendem Sonnenschein fanden sich immer mehr Rider und Zuschauer in der Blue Tomato Chill Area ein und warteten gespannt auf die Bekanntgabe der Head-to-Head Battles!

Am 21.04.2011 luden Blue Tomato und QPark zum Rookie Scouting im Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein. Dabei konnten junge Snowboard- und Freeskiitalente im Alter von 8 bis 14 Jahren ihr Können zeigen und wertvolle Tipps von Profis, wie Vanessa Waldenhofer, Paz Gruber und Flo Wieser , sammeln. Auch mit von der Patie waren die jungen Blue Tomato Teamrider Max Grünwald und Tobi Grünwald!

On the 21st of April 2011 the Rookie Scouting at the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein took place. Young snowboarders and freeskiiers showed their ability to ride and got professional advice from BT teamrides Vanessa Waldenhofer, Paz Gruber and Flo Wieser! Furthermore, Max Grünwald and Tobi Grünwald showed their best tricks! All in all it was a sunny and funny day!

QParks Filmer und Fotografen werden von 9:30 bis 14:00 im Beginner Park ihre Kameras an verschiedenen Obstacles positionieren und die besten Tricks und Jumps einfangen. Doch damit nicht genug, zusätzlich werden Blue Tomato Teamscouts vor Ort sein und die Augen nach frischen Talenten offen halten!

You are young, a motivated freeskier or snowboarder and always wanted to have stylish pictures of you or to have a part in an professional freestyle video? Maybe you are looking for a sponsor? This call goes out to all freeski and snowboard rookies who are not older than 14 years old. The following Thursday promises freestyle action deluxe at the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein!
A QParks filmer and photographer will be on site from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm and will
place their cameras on several obstacles along the beginner line to capture the best moves and tricks. But that’s not all! There will also be some Blue Tomato team scouts in the park, having their eyes open for new fresh talents!

Big Showdown im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai – Plan P 2011 und unsere Teamrider standen ganz oben auf dem Podesttreppchen!
Jeder der sich an diesem Samstag auf den Weg in den Horsefeathers Superpark Planai zum Plan P 2011 machte, wurde mit genialen Conditions auf allen Linien belohnt! Strahlender Sonnenschein, perfekte Temperaturen und ein wirklich sicker Park waren die Zutaten für einen edlen Auftakt der QParks Tour im neuen Jahr! Der Plan P Contest 2011 ging am 29.01. bei Bluebird und einem perfekt geshapten Park Set-Up im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai über die Bühne. Über 70 motivierte Freeskier und Snowboarder battelten sich um ein fettes Preisgeld von insgesamt EUR 3000.- sowie um jede Menge Sachpreise von Horsefeathers, Blue Tomato und Adidas Eyewear!
Und unsere Blue Tomato Teamrider rockten die Show. So belegten in der Kategorie Snowboard Men Viktor Szigeti den ersten Platz, Lisa Veith wurde bei den Girls Snowboard Dritte und bei den Freeskiern räumten die Männer mit Alex Moser ( 1.) und Tobi Tritscher (3.) gleich richtig ab und auch Stefanie De Menech sicherte sich einen guten 2. Platz!

Big Showdown at the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai – Plan P 2011- and our Blue Tomato teamrider stood on the highest place on the podium!
Anyone who got up the Planai on this beautiful Saturday for the Plan P, the first tour stop of the QParks Tour 2011, was rewarded with epic conditions! Bright sunshine, perfect temperature and a sick setup of the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai made everyone happy. So no wonder we’ve seen just smiling faces all around. The conditions for the Plan P 2011 couldn’t have been any better: bluebird, a perfectly shaped setup and high class freestyle action! Over 70 highly motivated snowboarders and freeskiers rocked the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai and battled for a nice prize money of EUR 3000.- and loads of goodies from Horsefeathers, Blue Tomato and Adidas Eyewear!
And our Blue Tomato Teamrider rocked the show. So got in the category Snowboard Men Viktor Szigeti first place, Lisa Veith was third in the category Girls Snowboard and in the freeski category the men really made it with Alex Moser ( 1.) and Tobi Tritscher (3.) and also Stefanie De Menech saved a great 2. place!
In nicht mal 2 Wochen ist es soweit und der erste Tourstop der QParks Tour 2011 geht im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai über die Bühne! Seit 3 Jahren gibt es beim Plan P richtig fette Freestyleaction von Snowboard und Freeski Pros. Seit heuer gewinnt das TTR 2Star Event noch zusätzlich an Bedeutung, denn es läutet das Eventfeuerwerk der QParks Tour in der Hauptsaison ein. Natürlich unterstützt auch Blue Tomato den Shred-Nachwuchs tatkräftig und ist als Sponsor wieder mit von der Partie.

Stattfinden wird der 3 Star TTR Slopestyle Wettbewerb NUR für MÄDELS im Snowboard-Mekka Mayrhofen. Auf die Gewinnerin warten neben 2500 Euro Preisgeld, 400 TTR Weltrangpunkte. Zusätzlich zu dem großzügigen Preisgeld, kann eine “nicht-gesponserte” Fahrerin, ein Jahr Sponsorship mit Rip Curl gewinnen.
