Der 2te Contest der Absolut Park Serie ist vergangenes Wochenende über die Bühne gegangen.
Der Startschuss fiel am Freitag, dem 18. Februar, mit den Freeskiern bei perfekten Bedingungen und einem top motivierten Riderfeld. Am Samstag trotzten die Snowboarder dem schlechten Wetter und zeigten tolle Tricks.
Snowboard:
Bei den Jungs unter 15 Jahren, konnte Wilfried Winter die Judges von seinem Können überzeugen. Er sicherte sich mit einer soliden Performance den obersten Stockerlplatz, vor dem Jib King Sieger Alois Lindmoser & Tobias Michael.
Auch die großen Jungs kämpften um die heiß begehrte Pop ’n’ Drop Trophäe & natürlich um ein Ticket für das Spring Battle. Milu Multhaupt-Appleton, aus Neuseeland, gewann vor Absolut Teamfahrer Kevin Scherübl & Local Hero Manuel Lindmoser – Congrats Boys for your great performance & welcome to Spring Battle 2011!

In wenigen Tagen ist es soweit, die Absolut Serie geht weiter – nächster Stopp: Pop ‚n’ Drop.
Auch in diesem Jahr wieder als TTR** Event ausgetragen, liegt der Contest in den Händen des Absolut Park Shape Teams – für ein kreatives Set up ist also gesorgt. Zudem gilt Pop ‚n’ Drop als Qualifyer für die über 15 Jährigen für die Absolut Progression und das Spring Battle. Für die unter 15 Jährigen Freeskier und die Ladies gibt es coole Sachpreise abzustauben. Der Rider Nachwuchs der lokalen Freeski & Snowboardszene hat auch hier die Gelegenheit, Können zu beweisen und den Sprung ins Pro Business zu schaffen.

Just a few days left, the Absolut series goes on with its next stop: Pop ‘n’ Drop.
The first time carried out as a TTR** event, the Absolut Park Shape Team is responsible for the contest in this year as well. Furthermore Pop ‘n’ Drop is part of the ASA tour and a qualifier for the Austrian Open in Westerndorf, from the 4th to the 6th of march 2010. So the younger riders of the local freeski- and snowboardscene have the opportunity to show their skills and make it into the pro business.
Pop ‘n’ drop is an additional chance for snowboarders because of the presence of the olympic champion Nicola Thost with her “Sprungbrett 3er”. Sprungbrett 3er gives young snowboarders between 5 and 15 the chance to be spotted as a talent at several Open Sessions. The best snowboarders are able to be part of exclusive events like the MBM Monstersession and Red Bull UpSprings and witness the international scene closely.
The Pop ‘n’ Drop contest takes place on the upper part, the kicker line of the Absolut Park. As usual there are individual results for freeskier (boy and girls under and over 15) and snowboarders (boys and girls under and over 15).
For the over 15 year old the contest is the qualification event for the Absolut Progression and the Absolut Park Spring Battle. The under 15 year old have the chance to get some cool prizes. So apply for the Pop ‘n’ Drop as soon as possible – information on how to apply and all about the contest is available at www.absolutpark.com.
