Our Skateboard Pro Philipp Schuster likes to take matters into his own hands. No, not what you’re thinking right now, he is a classic do-it-yourself-guy, meaning he builds his own spots, teaches kids, takes his own pictures and he also draws! In a special case, he drew his own T-Shirt designs!
And because Philipp is not only incredibly talented in skateboarding, but also with a pen, his sponsor Blue Tomato treated him to his own signature line!
All the designs are drawn by hand by mister Schuster himself! And because he is a sustainable guy, too, the white shirts are made from 100% organically grown cotton! That’s good for the environment and for your skin, too!
But pictures say more than a thousand words, so check out a few pictures here and then proceed to the Blue Tomato Shop to purchase the noble cotton-yarn!
Have you ever wanted to skate in your own living room?
Does your window ledge, the wall and the cozy tiled stove appeal like super cool skate obstacles?
Blue Tomato team rider Philipp Schuster, for one, could imagine it and proceeded to action.
So he grabbed some skate friends to clear out the house and to reform it to a sick skate pool living room. Awesome job!
On March 28, 2012 we came along with Blue Tomato skate team newcomer Philipp Schuster and arranged a filming session in Flachauwinkl at the Chillhouse on 1600 metres above sealevel. Rookie Max Grünwald was in on it and joined the experienced Pro.
The day started with a common skating session and ended in a skate contest in the course of the Quiksilver Spring Battle where both of our team riders cashed up at the “Cash for Trick” session. And that’s not enough. Among the 26 participating skateborders from all over Europe, Philipp was crowned most impressive rider of the day, together with Andy Scott and Dustin Vonach.
