Each year, the Nike team riders make a team shoot late in the season to let this fade away perfectly. This time the beautiful Strandafjellet in Norway was chosen as a location.
Halldor and the crew toured a week around the country – so a lot of fun and action is guaranteed! In addition, a great opportunity, the new Nike Vapen snowboard boot to test!

Die Würfel sind gefallen! Beim neunten und letzten Tour Stop der Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour am 4. Februar 2011 im Blue Tomato Snowpark Stuhleck, Österreich wurde der Neunte und letzte Fahrer für das Finale gefunden. Vor rund 300 Zuschauern battelten 33 Teilnehmer bei einer Night Session am Stairset um das letzte Ticket für das große Finale beim Nike 6.0 Air & Style.
Das Stairset wurde diesmal mitten im Blue Tomato Snowpark aufgebaut. Mit einem eigenen Schlepplift bietet der Park bis zu 8 Rail-Obstacles in einer Line, sowie Flutlichtbeleuchtung für Sessions bis 22 Uhr. Wie immer war das Niveau bei diesem offiziellen TTR 2-Star Event sehr hoch. Für zusätzlichen Anreiz sorgte die Tatsache, dass das Final des Stairset Battles im „Cash for Tricks“-Format stattfand und die besten 10 Fahrer die €2.000 Preisgeld unter sich aufteilen konnten. Dementsprechend hagelte es Bangers!

The last chance is over! The 9th and last tourstop of the Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour took place on February 4 at the Blue Tomato Park Stuhleck, Austria. In front of 300 spectators 33 riders battled in a night session to get the last ticket for the big final at the Nike 6.0 Air & Style.
This time the stairset was built up in the middle of the Blue Tomato snowpark. With an own t-bar the park provides up to 8 rail-obstacles in one line and also floodlight for sessions until 10 pm.

Als Preis gab es für die Gewinner der einzelnen Tour Stops ein Ticket zum Big Final um gegen neun der weltbesten Jibber anzutreten; das alles vor 25.000 Zuschauern im Münchner Olympiastadion. Big airs, big style, big crowds, big money! The legendary Air & Style contest will present a Rail Jam as an own contest discipline for the first time.
This TTR 3Star event is the big final of the Nike 6.0 Stairset battle Tour 2010/11, a series of official TTR 2Star events which toured to 9 resorts in whole Europe. The prize of every tour stop was a ticket for the big finals in front of 25.000 spectators at the Olympiastadion in Munich. This is their chance to make it big!
29. Janauar 2011 - Beim achten Tour Stop der Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour begeisterte der Kronplatz mit perfekten Bedingungen und einem Rekord von 1.300 Zuschauern vor Ort. Insgesamt battlelten sich 36 Fahrer bei diesem vorletzten Stop vor dem Finale.
Das Skigebiet Kronplatz bietet einen top geshapten Funpark, der von Nike 6.0 unterstützt wird. Im Mittelpunkt stand aber natürlich wieder das Stairset, welches diesmal an der Talstation vor den vielen Aprés Ski Bars platziert wurde.
Neben Tricks wie 360s in beide Richtung gab es auch bislang noch nicht auf der Tour gezeigte Tricks, darunter ein Hardway BS 270.
Da dies eine der letzten Qualifikationschancenfürs Finale war, gestaltete sich das Fahrerfeld auffallend international.
Der Österreicher, Flo Achenrainer, belgete den ersten Platz, vor dem Zweitplatzierten Nejc Ferjan und dem Dritten Jesse Augustinus , mit der Cab 360 to 50-50, FS 360 to 50-50 und dem ersten Hardway BS 270 der Tour.
Zum drittletzten Tourstop vor dem großen Finale in München machte die Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour am 22. Januar halt in Andorra. Das geografisch gesehen kleine Land mitten in den Pyrenäen mobilisierte ein Starterfeld von 37 der besten Jibber der Region und über 700 Zuschauer.
Trotz seiner Nähe zu Spanien begeisterte das Skigebiet mit optimalen Snowboard-Bedingungen bei Temperaturen zwischen -10 und -15°C, sowie den ganzen Tag lang Sonnenschein. Der Snow Park von Vallnord ist als bester des Landes bekannt, und das Stairset wurde direkt vor einem Bergrestaurant aufgebaut – besser geht’s nicht!
Vor dem Final bleiben nur noch zwei Tourstops, einer davon findet im Blue Tomato Snowpark am 4. Februar statt und bereits jetzt darf man sich auf eine großartige Session freuen!
For the third-last tour stop before the big final in Munich the Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour made a stop on January, 22nd in Andorra. The geographical seen little country in the middle of the Pyrenäen got a starting field ready with the 37 best jibbers of the region and more than 700 spectactors.
Besides his closness to Spain the ski destination the ski destination impressed with perfect snowboard conditions with temperature between -10 ° and -15 ° C as well sunshine the whole day long. The snow park of Vallnord is popular for being the best in the country and the stairset has been set up directly in front of a restaurant – better it couldn`t be!

Zum sechsten Tourstopp machte die Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour erneut halt hoch oben in Skandinavien, genauer gesagt im Skigebiet von Talma, Finnland. Die Locals ließen sich weder von eisigen Pistenbedingungen, noch von Niedrigsttemperaturen von – 23°C abhalten. Insgesamt lieferten sich 45 Starter vor rund 600 Zuschauern ein sehenswertes Battle am Stairset.
Während der vorherige Tourstopp in Norwegen bereits einen Vorgeschmack auf die vielen Jib-Talente in Skandinavien gegeben hat, wussten auch die Fahrer in Talma auf ganzer Linie zu begeistern. Während der gesamten Session zeigten sie 360s in beide Richtungen, sowie viele technische Rail-Tricks.
For the sixt tourstopp the Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle made another stop far up in scandinavia, in the ski destination Talma, Finnland to be exact. The locals let themselves neither stopp from the icy slope conditions, nor from the lowest temperatures of -23° C. All in all it was really worth seeing the 45 starters in front of round 600 spectactors battle on the stairset.
While the previous tour stop in Norway gave already a pre-taste for the many jib talents in Scandinavia, also the riders in Talma knew exactly how they could impress in every way. During the whole session they showed 360s in both directions, as well as technical Rail-Tricks.<
Der bekennende Fußballfan Patrice wird beim Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 am 12. Februar 2011 auch ohne Rasenheizung im ehrwürdigen Olympiastadion den Fans in der Arena und auf den Rängen kräftig einheizen. Sein von Jazz, Soul und HipHop beeinflusster Reggaesound und seine markante Stimme haben ihn zu einem äußerst einflussreichen und erfolgreichen Musiker werden lassen. Was auf CD schon stark klingt, wird dank seiner Bühnenpräsenz zu einem bleibenden Live-Erlebnis. Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass er mit seiner Stimme nicht den Schnee auf der gigantischen Snowboard-Rampe zum Schmelzen bringt.
The soccer fan Patrice is going to fire up the audience at the Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 on February 12th 2011 in the Arena and on the seats without undersoil-heating in the memorable Olympia stadium in Munich. His Reggae sound, influenced by Jazz, Soul and Hip hop, and his distinctive voice made him a very influential and successful musician. What sounds strong on CD is evolving live to a lasting commemoration. Let’s hope his voice isn’t going to melt the snow on the gigantic snowboard ramp. Bald ist es soweit und das neu gewonnene Nike 6.0 Stairset im Blue Tomato Park Stuhleck wird mit dem Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Tour Stopp am 4. Februar gebührend eingeweiht!

Eine Night-Session bei Flutlicht – d.h. der Contest findet in den Abend hinein statt, von 15:30- 20:30! Somit könnt ihr euch einfach ein wenig früher ins Weekend verabschieden um an diesem TTR 2-Star Contest mitzumachen um möglicherweise eine Wildcard fürs Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle Finale beim Nike 6.0 Air&Style, Februar 2011 in München zu gewinnen, um somit die Chance zu haben sich die Krone des Overall Champions aufsetzen zu dürfen.

A night-sessions with flood light- d.h. the contest will be held into the evening, from 3.30 P.M. till 8.30 P.M.! That’s why you just can start a bit earlier into the weekend to take part in this TTR 2-Star event and may win a wildcard for the the Nike6.0 Stairset Battle Superfinal at Air&Style Munich Febuary 2011 and get’s the chance to be crowned the overall champion.
