Geglückte Rückkehr des Air&Style nach München vor 16.500 Zuschauern im Olympiastadion München!

München, 12. Februar 2011 – Der Sieger des Nike 6.0 Air&Style Munich 2011 ist Peetu Piiroinen aus Finnland. Mit einem Cab 1260 Mute Grab und einem Frontblunt 270 (93,07 Punkte) im Superfinale der besten Vier sicherte er sich vor 16.500 begeisterten Zuschauern im Olympiastadion München den begehrten Ring of Glory. Zweiter bei diesem Swatch TTR World Tour 6-Star Event wurde Seppe Smits (BEL/91,6) vor unserem Blue Tomato Teamrider, Halldor Helgason (ISL/77,6), welcher die Finals mit einem sauberen Bs 1080 Double Cork und einem Switch 50-50 Halfcab Out am Stairset eröffnete und dann in Run 2 und 3 leider stürzte.

Der Kicker ist perfekt geshaped. Das warme Wetter und die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit können dem Schnee nichts anhaben. Im Gegenteil: Sie sorgen für eine weiche und sichere Landung. Die Fahrer zeigten sich begeistert vom Zustand der Schanze.

Das BLUE Surf & Travel Magazin hat eine ganz besondere Überraschung fürs Neue Jahr- mit einer Blue Surf Filmnacht Tour! In diversen Großstädten Deutschlands präsentieren sie im 2011 regelmässig Kinonächtem die sich ausschließslich mit dem Wellenreiten und der dem Lifestyle zugrunde liegenden Kultur befassen. Das können Surf Klassiker aus den 60er Jahren sein, künstlerisch ambitionierte Underground-Streifen oder auch die neusten Produktionen großer Firmen.

Zur Eröffnung der Reihe zeigen sie gleich zwei Indie-Perlen:

„Stoked & Broke“ (Regie: Cyrus Sutton, 45 min.) und
„Idiosyncrasies“ (Regie: Patrick Trefz, 45 min.)

Beide Filme sind brandneu, beide Regisseure haben bereits Kultstatus erlangt und beide vereint ihr Thema: „Freiheit und Individualität“.

The BLUE Surf & Travel Magazin has a special surprise for the New Year- a Blue Surf Movie Night! In 2011 they will present in diverse big cities in Germany on a regular basis movie nights, which are only concerned about surfing and about the lifestyle on this culture it is based on. That can be a surf classic from the 60ties, a artistic animated underground-movie or a the latest production of a big concern.

For the opening of the whole series they show right two Indie-Pearls:

„Stoked & Broke“ (Regie: Cyrus Sutton, 45 min.) and

„Idiosyncrasies“ (Regie: Patrick Trefz, 45 min.)

Both movies are brand new, both regisseurs have already cult status and both are united by one topic: “Freedom and Individuality”.

Als neuen Titelsponsor bringt Nike nach drei Jahren Pause den Air & Style wider in Münchner Olympiastadion- ein einzigartiger Mix aus Snowboarden und Musik!

Am 12. Februar 2011 kehrt die Snowboard- Weltelite mit beim Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich wieder ins Olympiastadion München zurück. Unvergessen ist der letzte Auftritt der Helden auf dem Brett, das für viele die Welt bedeutet. Im Winter 2007 wurde im Münchner Olympiastadion letztmals Snowboard-Geschichte geschrieben. Vor 30.000 begeisterten Zuschauern wurden beim Sieg von Kevin Pearce (USA) neue sportliche Standards gesetzt und eine Snowboard-Ära eingeläutet, die im Februar 2010 bei den Olympischen Winterspielen in Vancouver ihren vorläufigen Höhepunkt fand. Genau daran will der Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 anknüpfen – nicht weniger als das Nonplusultra in Sachen Straight Jump Snowboard-Contest zu sein ist das erklärte Ziel.

As new title sponsor brings Nike after three years pause the Air& Style again to Munich into the Olypmic Stadion- a unique mix of snowboarding and music!

On February, 12th 2011 the snowboard- worldelite will return with the Nike 6.0 & Style Munich to the Olympic Stadion Munich. Not forgotten is the last show of the heros of the boards, which meant for some of them the world! It was in winter 2007 the last time that snowboard  history has been made at  Olympia Stadion Munich. In front of 30 000 people new sportive standards were set thanks to the victory of Kevin Pearce (USA) and a new era of snowboarding began, which peaked in February 2010 at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver for the moment. And it is exactly this point, where Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 wants to continue- not less than to be the non-plus- ultra concerning straight air jump snowboard contest is the official goal!
