A few weeks ago, the last days of the season in the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein were already in sight. But we knew: it was time again for a big Blue Tomato team shooting!
Beautiful weather, the sun is burning down but our lovely Dachstein always keeps us cool for beeing active for some beloved spring snowboard sessions!
So we decided to go for a huge one and invited our great Blue Tomato Snowboard family of team riders.
But we didn’t stop here, we also brought our guy for moving pictures, Thomas Kesselbacher, with us and chained him in front of his computer afterwards to provide you with a sweet little edit:
Es war wieder mal ein Tag voller Action und Spass auf den Pisten der Planai als Blue Tomato am 15. Februar 2011 über 60 Kinder des SOS- Kinderdorf Steiermark zum Kids Snowboard Day auf der Planai einlud.
Dank der Unterstützung diverser Sponsoren war es möglich den Kids einen Tag lang GRATIS das Snowboarden mit professioneller Unterstützung zu ermöglichen. Blue Tomato checkte die Car- Anreise der Kinder und stellte die Verpflegung zur Verfügung die Planai Hochwurzen Bahnen steuerten einen Beitrag zu den Liftkarten bei.
Zudem sorgten wir im Vorfeld für die Ausrüstung, da viele der Kinder keine Eigene besassen- Blue Tomato Mitarbeiter halfen daher mit eigenen Sachen wie Kleidung, Helme oder Handschuhen aus. Auch unsere Partner waren begeistert von dem Projekt und so steuerten bekannte Marken wie Burton, Ride, Salomon, Bonfire, Oneill, Volcom, oder Scott grossartige Sachen zu der Ausrüstung der Kinder bei.
Einem coolen Rider Tag auf dem Berg stand also nichts mehr im Wege. Und die motivierte Truppe machte sich kurz nach der Ankunft auf zur Piste um das Snowboarden und Skifahren zu lernen oder sich darin noch zu steigern. Die Blue Tomato Snowboardlehrer und Teamrider standen Ihnen dafür am Übungshang oder im Park mit Tips und Tricks zur Seite und waren engagiert jedem, egal ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschrittener, zu seinem persönlichen Erfolgserlebnis zu verhelfen.
Der 4. Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard Day war wieder ein voller Erfolg. Über 80 Kinder waren am 11.Dezember mit dabei um das Snowboarden zu lernen oder um im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai noch mehr Tricks zu lernen.
Obwohl sich Frau Holle entschlossen uns gerade am Kids Snowboard Day so richtig mit Schnee einzudecken, änderte das nichts an der guten Stimmung am Samstag Morgen im Blue Tomato Shop Schladming. Voller Erwartung und hochmotiviert machten sich die Snowboard Gruppen auf zur Planai um einen ganzen Tag lang kostenlosen Snowboard Unterricht bei den Blue Tomato Snowboard Lehrer zu geniessen.

Das Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam steht voll in den Startlöchern und man darf sich auf eine Menge Action im Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein freuen. Aber auch im Tal wird gerockt bis die Berge zittern. Gestartet wird damit bereits am Donnerstag mit der Pleasure Riders Welcome Party im Eventhotel aQi mit Sound by Habibi. Weiter geht’s am Freitag, 12.November mit vollem Program, im Blue Tomato Shop Schladming gibt es viele coolen Überraschungen für dich:
1.) Hat der Shop eine Stunde länger offen das heisst shoppen bis um 19:00 Uhr
2.) Gibt’s für jeden Besucher ab 14:00 leckeren Punsch mit gratis Horsefeathers Waffeln und heisser DJ Session
3.) Kannst du jede Menge coole Horsefeathers Goodies abstauben
Danach brachst du sicher einen kurzen Fresh Up im Hotel um dann gleich das Gala Dinner im aQi zu crashen und zu DJ MASSTRICKS Beats die Hüften schwingen. Wer da nicht geladen ist muss keinesfalls verzweifeln, im Gegenteil die können dann die Ersten sein die im Hohenhaus Tenne in die süße Versuchung bei der Blue Tomato „get jammed‘‘ Party dem Sound von DJ B. VISIBLE & STYLESTAB und DJ DEXTER kommen.

The Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam is in its starting blocks and we can look forward to lots of action in the Horsefeathers Superpark Dachstein. But also the valley will rock until the mountains start shaking. It all begins with the Pleasure Riders Welcome Pary in the event hotel aQi with sound by Habibi and goes on Friday November, 12th with full program, lots of cool surprises are waiting at Blue Tomato Shop Schladming for you:
1.) The shop has open one hour more means shopping until 7 P.M.
2.) Every visitor gets to enjoy a punch with free Horsefeathers waffel and a hot DJ session from 2 P.M.
3.) You can dust a bunch of great Horsefeathers goodies
After that you surely need a short fresh up in your hotel before you can crash the Gala Dinner in the aQi where you shake your booty to DJ MASSTRICKS. All people who didn’t get an invitation don’t need to cry, even better so you can be the first at Blue Tomato’s “get jammed” Party in the Hohenhaus Tenne with sound by DJ B. VISIBLE & STYLESTAB and DJ DEXTER.
The second event on the 19th of December 2009 was a huge success! The next Kids Snowboard Day is coming up soon on the 13th of March, and once again, it’s FREE for all kids!
At the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai, the Blue Tomato Teamriders will teach the kids some helpful tips and tricks, there will be free beginners lessons and rental equipment, as well as “learn to ride” test material by Burton, before we finish the day off with a goodie-bag giveaway at the Blue Tomato Shop in Schladming.
Don’t forget, tomorrow is the Ski Rookie Day at Horsefeathers Super Park Planai!
It’s one of the most important events for Freeski youngbloods up to 18 years of age. The contest will take place at the three kickers of the Pro Line and the competitors will be judged in three categories.
As an early Christmas-gift for all freeski- and snowboard-fans, the Horsefeatheres Superpark Planai opens its gates on the 19th of December 2009. Its “big brother”, the Atomic Superpark Dachstein, will be open at least until the 13th December. This will be a seamless transition to the upcoming winter season and once again, the Schladming-Dachstein region provides 10 months of freestyle!
