Am 1.-5. März 2011 findet in Laax erneut die European Freeski Open statt. Die Créme de la Créme der Freeski Szene, so zum Beispiel: Virginie Faivre, Sarah Burke, Kaya Turski, Candide Thovex, Henrik Harlaut, Russ Henshaw, Simon Dumont, JF Houle or Jossi Wells, haben an diesem Event schon Geschichte Geschrieben in dem sie Titel und Ehre nach Hause genommen haben.

Bestehend aus Slopestyle und Halfpipe Disziplinen verspricht der 5-Tägige Contest wieder ein Höhepunkt des Freeski Kalenders zu werden. Über 200 Fahrer von der ganzen Welt werden am Crap Sogn Gion wieder um ein Preisgeld von US$ 50’000 batteln und jeder kann ihnen dabei zuschauen.

Neben den Action auf dem Berg gibts im Riders Palace und Rockresort weniger snow taugliche Sideevents die Europas Aushängeschild an Freeski Events perfekt abrunden.

From March, 1st-5th 2011 the European Freeski Open takes place in Laax. Worlds Top riders, e.g. Virginie Faivre, Sarah Burke, Kaya Turski, Candide Thovex, Henrik Harlaut, Russ Henshaw, Simon Dumont, JF Houle or Jossi Wells left their names already in the history books of the event by taking home titles and honours.

Comprising of Slopestyle and Halfpipe disciplines and running for 5 days at the contest and again promises to be the pinnacle of the European freeski winter calendar. More than 200 athletes coming from all over the globe will compete at Crap Sogn Gion mountain to snatch a piece of the US$50,000 prize money. All events are free to the public to view. Additional to the high level action on snow suitable side events in the Riders Palace and rocksresort ensure the completion of Europe’s freeski flagship event.
