Am 11.03.2011 sind  KYA BAMBA SOUND das erste Mal in Wien und rocken den CLub Reigen!

Das Reggae/Dancehall‐Kollektiv KYA BAMBA aus den Schweizer Alpen sollte den meisten Freunden des Wintersports und Dancehall‐Insidern ein Begriff sein. Durch ihre enge Freundschaft zum Top‐Freestyler TANNER HALL, zu dessen Videos sie mehrfach ihre Dubplates als Soundtrack beisteuerten, konnten sie sich in der Freeski‐ und Snowboard‐Szene als musikalische Fixgröße etablieren und jede Menge Fans gewinnen. Darüber hinaus machten sie sich mit diversen Remixes weltweit einen Namen und können auf Gastspiele, u.a. in den USA und JAPAN, zurückblicken. Regelmäßig sind sie auch in den Hot Spots unter den österreichischen Wintersportorten zu Gast und waren schon bei einigen der angesagtesten Events.

Am 19. Dezember 2010 ist es wieder soweit – K2 Snowboarding feiert den fünften internationalen World Snowboard Day.

Der Winter steht vor der Tür! Google muss als Startseite dem Schneebericht weichen und auf dem Fernseher läuft zum Frühstück das 3sat Alpenpanorama mit den aktuellsten Wetter- und Schneeberichten der Wintersportgebiete. Bei dem Gedanken an verschneite Gipfel, frisch geshapte Parks und unberührte Powder Runs jucken jedem Snowboarder schon die Füße. Auch heuer feiert die Snowboardcommunity am 19. Dezember bei unzähligen Events in Skigebieten rund um den Globus wieder ihren heiligen Tag, den World Snowboard Day.

K2 Snowboarding und Ride Snowboards rufen zum gemeinsamen Shredden auf. Wem das als Motivation noch nicht reicht, der sollte spätestens bei dem Wort Freikarten hellhörig werden. Von 18:30 bis 21:00 Uhr gehört das Wintersportgebiet Hocheck/ Oberaudorf allein den Snowboardern und das komplett „for free“. Also, Brett wachsen, Kanten schleifen und rauf auf den Berg. Wenn du noch auf der Suche nach dem richtigen Equipment für die aktuelle Saison bist, haben K2 Snowboarding und Ride Snowboards eine Teststation eingerichtet. Hier könnt ihr die neuesten Boards, Bindungen und Boots gratis testen. Außerdem warten ein perfekt geshapter IOU Park, Special Food & Drinks im „Almrausch“ an der Talstation und jede Mende Goodies von Ride und K2 auf euch.

The second event on the 19th of December 2009 was a huge success! The next Kids Snowboard Day is coming up soon on the 13th of March, and once again, it’s FREE for all kids!
At the Horsefeathers Superpark Planai, the Blue Tomato Teamriders will teach the kids some helpful tips and tricks, there will be free beginners lessons and rental equipment, as well as “learn to ride” test material by Burton, before we finish the day off with a goodie-bag giveaway at the Blue Tomato Shop in Schladming.

The Austrian Snow-, Skateboard and Streetwear Brand LOVE is very proud to bring out their first Teammovie. Download it now for free!

The film was done in cooperation with Blue Tomato and it is for sure one of the most different and entertaining Snow and Skate movies in 2009!
Love Snow Teamriders Marc Swoboda ( Blue Tomato Teamrider), Matevz Pristavec, Seppi Scholler, Thomas Feurstein, Dominik Wagner (also in the Blue Tomato Team) and Flo Mausser were busy shooting the whole last year.

From big powder shots at the Arlberg or in Switzerland, massive park jumps in Slovenia, Sweden or the Superpark to the “rainbow jib session”. This movie is a good mix of powder, park and jibs! Also the Skaters Xico Basabe, Allessandro Massotti and Thomas Vevjar spent days and nights filming and you will see that it was worth it.

Besides this, the riders show that some of them also got other “hidden talents” and the whole crew guaranties that this is for sure the most entertaining and flashiest movie in 2009

As an early Christmas-gift for all freeski- and snowboard-fans, the Horsefeatheres Superpark Planai opens its gates on the 19th of December 2009. Its “big brother”, the Atomic Superpark Dachstein, will be open at least until the 13th December. This will be a seamless transition to the upcoming winter season and once again, the Schladming-Dachstein region provides 10 months of freestyle!
