Blue Tomato presents Loser Skate Contest!

Am 5. März um 15 Uhr geht`s für alle Skater ab in den Blue Tomato Shop in Wien! In einem so genannten LOSER Contest können sich die besten Skater rund um Wien face to face messen.
Für alle die sich jetzt fragen was genau ein Loser Contest ist – hier die Erklärung:
Jeweils 2 Skater treten gegeneinander an.
Einer macht einen Trick vor, der 2. versucht ihn nachzumachen. Schafft er es, darf er einen Trick vormachen und der andere versucht ihn nachzumachen. Wenn‘s geht, natürlich um einiges stylisher als sein Vorgänger.
Schafft er es nicht, bekommt er eine Karte mit einem Buchstaben – als erstes ein L, dann ein O usw. Das Ganze geht so lange hin und her, bis einer der beiden das Wort „LOSER“ mit seinen Buchstabenkarten bilden kann. Der „Loser“ scheidet aus, der zweite Skater ist eine Runde weiter. Geskatet wird in 2 Altersgruppen – Bis 16 Jahre, 17 Jahre und älter/sponsored.
Der Gewinner des Contests fliegt Mitte Mai zum Europäischen Finale der Element Make It Count Contestserie nach Madrid. Er kann als Zuschauer das Finale verfolgen und wird exklusiv für Blue-Tomato von dort berichten.
Neben diesem Hauptgewinn gibt es natürlich auch Stuff von Enjoi, Element und Blue Tomato abzuräumen.

On March the 5th at 3pm it`s starting in the Blue Tomato Shop in Vienna for all skaters to show their skills. In a so-called Loser contest the best skaters around Vienna can match face to face.
For those who are now wondering what a loser contest is – here the explanation:
Each 2 skater compete against each other. One makes a trick, the 2 tried to imitate him. Will he make it, he can fool a trick and the other tries to imitate him. If it`s possible a lot more stylish than its predecessor. If he don`t make it, he gets a card with a letter – the first is a L, then an O, etc. The whole thing takes so long until one of them can form the word loser with his letter cards. The “Loser” is eliminated and the second skater reaches next round.
The contest is split into two age groups: Up to 16 years, 17 years and older/sponsored.
The winner of the contest is flying in mid-May to the European final of the element Make It Count Contest Series in Madrid. He can follow the final as a spectator and will be report exclusive from there for Blue Tomato.
In addition to the grad prize, there are also stuff from Enjoi, Element and Blue Tomato.
