Bald ist es soweit im Innsbrucker Bergisel Stadion: Die weltbesten Snowboarder, Top Live-Bands und 14.000 Fans geben sich die Ehre bei Europas größtem und spektakulärstem Snowboard-Contest.

Die Riderslist ist inzwischen vollständig bestätigt und vereint die Elite der internationalen Snowboard-Szene im Wettkampf um 75.000 € Preisgeld. Die Riderliste ist vollständig bestätigt, mit dabei sind Stars wie Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), Antti Autti (FIN) und der TTR-Führenden Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI) Blue Tomato wird mit unserem Team Rider Clemens Schattschneider in der Rookie Kategorie und der deutschsprachige Raum mit Elias Erhardt aus Oberstaufen (GER) und dem Zillertaler Werni Stock (AUT) gebührend vertreten.Mit Billabong Teamfahrer Robbie Walker (AUS) nimmt erstmals auch ein Australier am Contest teil. Die 14 weltbesten Nachwuchsfahrer zeigen in der Rookie Challenge ihr Können, darunter unter anderem Ethan Morgan aus Mittenwald (GER) und Kevin Backström (SWE). The riders list is fully confirmed, part of that are stars such as Peetu Piiroinen (FIN), Antti Autti (FIN) and TTR-leader Iouri Podladtchikov (SUI), Blue Tomato is with team rider Clemens Schattschneider in the Rookie category and the German region is by Elias Erhardt from Oberstaufen (GER) and Werni Stock (AUT) from the Zillertal perfectly represented.With the Billabong team rider Robbie Walker (AUS) will for the first time an Australian take part in the contest. Grilo, Seb und Werni für die Augen, Jan Delay, Pennywise und Blumentopf auf die Ohren –> Alle 16 Top-Fahrer, 14 Rookies und 3 Bands bestätigt

Hier kommt es schwarz auf weiß: Zum ältesten und traditionsreichsten Snowboardcontest der Welt zieht es wieder die größten des Sports in das Bergiselstadion. Der Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol 2011 vermeldet das vollständig bestätigte Fahrerfeld für den Showdown am 5. Februar.

Und ganz besonders auf Ihre Kosten kommt diesmal die musikbegeisterte Fraktion. Im Stadion mischen der Funk-Rap-und-sonst-noch-was-Jongleur Jan Delay und die Punkrockurgesteine Pennywise die Zuschauer auf. Und bereits am Freitagabend gibt es im Rahmen des SnowFestival auf der Maria-Theresia-Straße die Burn Rail Session, die Auslosung der Erstrundenduelle mit allen Fahrern und ein Gratiskonzert der Münchner Sprachkünstler von Blumentopf.

Here it comes in black on white: the oldest and most traditional snowboard contest draws the world’s best riders into the Bergiselstadium, Innsbruck. The Billabong Air &Style Innsbruck-Tirol 2011 proudly presents the complete Ridersfield for the showdown on February 5th.

Especially the music-loving crowd will be pleased with the line-up. Jan Delay, the funk-rap-blues-everything artist and punk-rock-legends Pennywise will rock the stadium. While on the day before the Burn Rail Session and the first Round ridersdraw take place on the Maria-Theresia-Straße. Afterwards the Hip-Hop-Combo Blumentopf will give a free open-air concert during the inner-city SnowFestival.

Am 05.02.2011 ist es wieder soweit das Billabong Air & Style in Innsbruck-Tirol  lädt zum wieder einmal zu spektakulären Jumps und viel Freestyle  Action ein. Ein Event der Superlativen und als SWATCH TTR 6* Event auch äußerst attraktiv für die Rider. Kein Wunder also, dass sich auch das Rider Line-Up sehen lassen kann. Mehr dazu findest du hier….

Aber bevor die Pros die Kickers rocken werden kannst DU schon der grosse Abräumer im Vorfeld sein- wenn du bei unserem Gewinnspiel mitmachst. Dazu brauchst du nur die folgende Gewinnspielfrage richtig zu beantworten und bis 31. Januar 2011 an melanie.keller@blue-tomato.com einzusenden:

Der bekennende Fußballfan Patrice wird beim Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 am 12. Februar 2011 auch ohne Rasenheizung im ehrwürdigen Olympiastadion den Fans in der Arena und auf den Rängen kräftig einheizen. Sein von Jazz, Soul und HipHop beeinflusster Reggaesound und seine markante Stimme haben ihn zu einem äußerst einflussreichen und erfolgreichen Musiker werden lassen. Was auf CD schon stark klingt, wird dank seiner Bühnenpräsenz zu einem bleibenden Live-Erlebnis. Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass er mit seiner Stimme nicht den Schnee auf der gigantischen Snowboard-Rampe zum Schmelzen bringt.

The soccer fan Patrice is going to fire up the audience at the Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 on February 12th 2011 in the Arena and on the seats without undersoil-heating in the memorable Olympia stadium in Munich. His Reggae sound, influenced by Jazz, Soul and Hip hop, and his distinctive voice made him a very influential and successful musician. What sounds strong on CD is evolving live to a lasting commemoration. Let’s hope his voice isn’t going to melt the snow on the gigantic snowboard ramp. Als neuen Titelsponsor bringt Nike nach drei Jahren Pause den Air & Style wider in Münchner Olympiastadion- ein einzigartiger Mix aus Snowboarden und Musik!

Am 12. Februar 2011 kehrt die Snowboard- Weltelite mit beim Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich wieder ins Olympiastadion München zurück. Unvergessen ist der letzte Auftritt der Helden auf dem Brett, das für viele die Welt bedeutet. Im Winter 2007 wurde im Münchner Olympiastadion letztmals Snowboard-Geschichte geschrieben. Vor 30.000 begeisterten Zuschauern wurden beim Sieg von Kevin Pearce (USA) neue sportliche Standards gesetzt und eine Snowboard-Ära eingeläutet, die im Februar 2010 bei den Olympischen Winterspielen in Vancouver ihren vorläufigen Höhepunkt fand. Genau daran will der Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 anknüpfen – nicht weniger als das Nonplusultra in Sachen Straight Jump Snowboard-Contest zu sein ist das erklärte Ziel.

On February, 12th 2011 the snowboard- worldelite will return with the Nike 6.0 & Style Munich to the Olympic Stadion Munich. Not forgotten is the last show of the heros of the boards, which meant for some of them the world! It was in winter 2007 the last time that snowboard  history has been made at  Olympia Stadion Munich. In front of 30 000 people new sportive standards were set thanks to the victory of Kevin Pearce (USA) and a new era of snowboarding began, which peaked in February 2010 at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver for the moment. And it is exactly this point, where Nike 6.0 Air & Style Munich 2011 wants to continue- not less than to be the non-plus- ultra concerning straight air jump snowboard contest is the official goal!

Two weeks Stubai Zoo presented the replica of the Billabong Air & Style kicker. German parkdesigners Schneestern made a great opportunity for riders to familiarize with the conditions. Almost the same kicker and perfect weather conditions gave riders opportunity to start with even more self-confidence into the Billabong Air & Style.

Riders like Seppe Smiths, Marko Grilc, Sani Alibabic, Gigi Ruf, Marc Swoboda, Eero Ettala, Peter Konig and Co. showed that no matter how big is the kicker they can throw any trick the crowd wants to see it. Going switch, making double flip, doble rodeos or corks, even big spins with double grabs, all that and even more was just a piece of cake for the present riders. The whole Stubai glaicer was holding breathe while riders were having fun.
