The Pretzel Man, King of Afterbang, Tom Wallnuss, nenn ihn wie du willst, Tom ist wahrscheinlich zur Zeit der beste  Park Skier der Welt. Doch noch vor drei Jahren würdest du dir wirklich schwer tun, jemanden zu finden, der seinen Namen kannte. Letzte Saison gewann er den Euro X slope, den Utah Drew Tour slope Stop, and die Nz Games Slopestyle, unter vielen anderen bemerkenswerten Leistungen. Jetzt nach einer Zählung von fast 30.000 Stimmen auf der freeskier.com, wurde er zum Freeskier des Jahres gewählt.

Am 19. Februar 2011, ab 20 Uhr lädt die allseits beliebte Veranstaltung die internationale Elite wieder zum urbanen Showdown mitten in den Ortskern Bad Gasteins. Bewaffnet mit zwei „Bretteln“, fast übernatürlicher Körperbeherrschung und einer gehörigen Portion Mut werden die Top-Athleten über den Dächern des Skiressorts abheben und tausende Zuschauer an die Strecke locken.

We have a winner for the 2 places in the friends area for the Red Bull Playstreets in Bad Gastein, on 19th February!

On the 19th February, from 8 p.m. the most popular event invites through the urban showdown in the center of Bad Gastein. Armed with two planks supernaturally body control and big portion of courage  the top athletes will flying over the roofs of the ski resorts and thousand of viewers will come to the event.

An alle leidenschaftlichen Fotografen und Rider da draußen, es gibts wieder was zu gewinnen! Alles was ihr tun müsst ist, ein Obstacle aus dem Horsefathers Superpark Planai, dass vorgegeben wird so richtig zu rocken - jede Woche ein neues Obstacle und jede Woche gibts fette Goodies von Blue Tomato und Horsefathers als Belohnung. Wer die meisten Likes hat gewinnt.

Und so funktionierts:
• Auf der Horsefeathers Superpark Planai Facebook Fanpage posten wir jede Woche ein Obstacle!
• Sende deinen besten Shot des aktuellen Obstacles (mit Beschriftung Rider/Fotograf) an editors@qparks.com.
• Alle eingesendeten Fotos werden anschließend auf der Hosefeathers Superpark Fanpage veröffentlicht und der Facebook Community eine Woche lang zum Voting freigegeben.

Am 05.02.2011 ist es wieder soweit das Billabong Air & Style in Innsbruck-Tirol  lädt zum wieder einmal zu spektakulären Jumps und viel Freestyle  Action ein. Ein Event der Superlativen und als SWATCH TTR 6* Event auch äußerst attraktiv für die Rider. Kein Wunder also, dass sich auch das Rider Line-Up sehen lassen kann. Mehr dazu findest du hier….

Aber bevor die Pros die Kickers rocken werden kannst DU schon der grosse Abräumer im Vorfeld sein- wenn du bei unserem Gewinnspiel mitmachst. Dazu brauchst du nur die folgende Gewinnspielfrage richtig zu beantworten und bis 31. Januar 2011 an melanie.keller@blue-tomato.com einzusenden:

Planet Tirol ruft alle Snowboarder und Freeskier auf, pure Lebenslust, grenzenlosen Winterspaß und Adrenalinkicks in und aus den Tiroler Bergen mit der Kamera festzuhalten. Gesucht werden die packendsten Videoclips, die zeigen, wie vielseitig und einmalig Tirol ist. Teil jedes eingereichten Clips muss mindestens eine Backcountry-, eine Park- und eine Urban Jib-Szene sein.

Bis 12. März haben enthusiastische Filmer und Shredder die Möglichkeit, ihre Videoclips auf www.planet-tirol.com zu stellen und sich mit anderen zu matchen. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist, dass die verschiedenen Videosequenzen Backcountry Lines, Park Fun und Jib Sessions zeigen. Diese –selbstverständlich – erlebt und festgehalten in Tirol.
