On January the 15^th 2012 the Blue Tomato Kings Park has been flooded by flashlights! The reason for it has been the 1^st Blue Tomato Shooting Time “Rock the Kingdom”! No freestyle addict didn’t let this opportunity let go and showed their best tricks at beautiful bluebird! Professional photographers were there and shot amazing pics!

“Good Times Rollin” is the upcoming Snowboard Film by Bamboo Motion Pictures. It is often that good times run by too fast… looking back at last season reminds us of all the different feelings and situations you found yourself in.
Bamboo Motion Pictures – who’s that actually? It’s a crew of snowboarding friends, coming together, having fun and enjoying their time! Now it’s time to turn their project more professional! And they make it with success!

The second year in a row Nike 6.0 took their team riders to Norways wilde north to shoot their new team movie “Vapen Session”!
Every snowboarder dreams about the perfect season ender. In late spring 2011 the Nike snowboard team gathered in beautiful Strandafjellet in Norway for their annual team shoot. Traveling with boats through Viking country Blue Tomato team rider Halldor Helgason and the full crew were joined by legends like Nicolas Muller and Gigi Ruf for a week of snowboarding in a fun and relaxing way.

It was spring when the entire Nike 6.0 Team met at the Norwegian glacier at a perfectly shaped kicker. We already know this picture, haven’t we? Oh yes we do! Do you remember? Last year the whole Nike 6.0 Team was filming the D-Pad Session. While the D-Pad Session (which was named after their brand new boot) was cool, this latest project looks set to be even cooler. We’re hoping for more helis, corks and crazier camera men!

The land of the Vikings was also the perfect place to test the new Nike Vapen snowboard boot.

Schon das zweite Mal in Folge hat Nike 6.0 sein ganzes Team eingepackt um im wilden Norden Norwegens ihren neuen Teamshoot „Vapen Session“ zu drehen!

Wünscht sich nicht jeder Snowboarder eine perfekte Season-End-Session? Für das Nike Team ist dies der alljährliche Teamshoot im fortgeschrittenen Frühjahr. Die Location in diesem Jahr war das schöne Strandafjellet in Norwegen. Halldor und Co tourten per Boot durch das Land der Vikinger, begleitet von Nicolas Müller und Gigi Rüf - eine Woche Snowboarding auf die lustige und relaxte Art.

Es ist Frühling und das ganze Nike 6.0 Team trifft sich am norwegischen Gletscher an einem perfekt geshapten Kicker… Diese Bilder kennt man doch von irgendwo! Kannst du dich erinnern? Klar doch! Denn letztes Jahr traf sich das ganze Team zur D-Pad Session. Die D-Pad Session war zwar cool, jedoch sieht es ganz danach aus als könnte das neue Projekt, namens Vapen Session (benannt nach der brandneuen Boot-Marke) noch cooler werden. Man hofft dieses Jahr auf noch mehr Helis, Corks und verrücktere Kameramänner!

Der Shoot war die perfekte Gelegenheit den neuen Nike Vapen Boot zu testen.

Alle Park- und Pistenratten aufgepasst! Auch  heuer wird es wieder einen Blue Tomato Kids Snowboard Day geben und am 10. Dezember 2011 ist es dann endlich soweit.  Der Blue Tomato Snowboard Kids Day im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai startet in eine neue Runde und auch dieses Jahr ist das ganze wieder gratis!

Alle Kids ab ca. 5 Jahren, die Lust haben zu shredden oder sich im Park weiter entwickeln wollen sind herzlich eingeladen. Treffpunkt ist um 9:00 Uhr im Blue Tomato Shop Schladming.

Ihr könnt euch gratis „Learn to Rde“ Testmaterial von Burton leihen und  ihr werdet tatkräftig von unseren Blue Tomato Teamridern im Horsefeathers Superpark Planai unterstützt! Egal ob ihr schon die derbsten Park-Shredder seid oder das erste Mal auf der Box steht, sie werden jeden pushen und weiter bringen. Und wer weiß, vielleicht wird ja das ein oder andere Talent entdeckt… man kann ja  nie wissen!

Aber auch für die Kids, die erst mit dem Snowboarden beginnen  ist was dabei! Ihr habt die Möglichkeit einen gratis Anfängerkurs in der Blue Tomato Snowboard Schule Planai zu
besuchen und sich schon mal warm zu machen für den nächsten Snowboard Kids Day, um den Park dann ordentlich zu rocken!

Als krönender Abschluss und als kleine Belohnung für alle mutigen Snowboarder findet um 16:00 Uhr im Blue Tomato Shop Schladming eine Goodie Bag Verteilung mit einigen Überraschungen von Burton und Blue Tomato statt.

Aber denkt daran: Kluge Köpfe schützen sich, daher gilt die Helmpflicht! Wer keinen eigenen Helm hat, kann sich im Blue Tomato Shop einen ausleihen.

You waited such a long time? You gave your calendar bad names and listed every day just with a red cross? If it´s like that, you can relax now! Because the time of The Art of Flight in Austria has come and the Cineplexx Apollo cinema in Vienna will open the doors for all the snowboard fans out there!

Quiksilver and Red Bull rider Travis Rice, Curt Morgan and other members of the Crew will be at the premiere in Vienna and for sure they will sign so many auto grams that they can´t write any more! When? At the 9th of November at 3 pm in the Blue Tomato Store Vienna!
