Eiki and Halldor Helgason new Blue Tomato Teamriders!

Eiki and Halldor Helgason new Blue Tomato Teamriders!
We are proud to announce our two new Snowboard Teamriders – The brothers from Iceland: Eiki und Halldor Helgason
Eiki, the older one, is the current Transworld Rookie of the Year! He is one of the new Superstars in Snowboarding! After his mindblowing videopart in Rome’s „No Correct Way“ he was filming for the new People flick „Nice Try“ and Factor Films „They Came From…“ this year. Both sick videoparts! And besides that, Eiki stayed a nice and down to earth humble dude who lives and loves snowboarding. Eiki comes from Akureyri (Iceland), he is 22 years of age and sponsored by Rome, Oakley, Skullcandy, Kaleidoscope Skateboards, Frontline Clothing, DVS and BLUE TOMATO!
Halldor Helgason is the little brother of Eiki and this year the first Icelandic rider who competes at the Billabong Air & Style Rookie Challenge. He has been riding for nine years and has evolved into one of the sickest rail riders of the moment. This season he got a videopart in Standards “Black Winter” and Factor Films “They Came From…” like his brother Eiki. Halldor is 18 years of age, of course he comes also from Akureyri (Iceland) and is sponsored by DC, Monster Energy, Oakley, Skullcandy, Frontline Clothing, Kaleidoscope Skateboards and BLUE TOMATO!

Welcome to the Team!

Dachstein – it’s over now.
6 weeks – Dachstein Superpark
6 weeks – a lot of bad weather days, but also a few really nice bluebird ones
6 weeks – learning new tricks
6 weeks – having fun doing your “old” tricks
6 weeks – shooting with your shredbuddies, or at least trying to shoot, cause everyone is too motivated to stop riding for getting the cam ready
6 weeks – meeting up with friends from all over europe
6 weeks – spending the lunchbreak and the time after the ridingsessions in the chillarea
6 weeks – saying “hi” to the dachstein cows, horses and “bees”. getting some shots with them and starting a master plan to sell the original dachstein-honey to the tourists
6 weeks – squeezing tightly into gondolas with the 100.000 tourists, which are getting up to the top to enjoy the view from the skywalk (no matter if there is fog or not) and the ice-palaste. no need to say that they mostly dress up in short pants and summershoes for the walk in the snow.
6 weeks – wet boots, wet gloves, wet everything -> as a result of the slushy snow or the rainy weather
6 weeks – collecting the goggleface, no matter if you asked for it or not. no matter if you use 50ies sunblocker or not.
6 weeks – kickers, rails, corner, boxes,…
6 weeks – of up and downs, of fog and sun, of slams and sticking your tricks, of waxing and brushing, of speed or need for speed.
6 weeks – full of good times
6 weeks – full of impressions out of my iphone:
