What do you need to prepare your snowboard properly?

To keep your snowboard in good shape – so that it always provides you with what you need and want, with perfect grip and lots of speed, you need to do a little workout from time to time!
Grinding the edges and waxing the base of your board, that’s what you need to do! Therefore you need some special equipment, which can make your time in the park and the powder so much better! This is not something to be stingy with, you would regret it!

To prepare your board or your skis properly, you need a Board Grip to fix your board on a table or a workbench. The Edge Tuner is a perfect tool to grind the steel edges for maximum performance. Speed is next to perfect edges the most important thing for good snowboarding and skiing. A good Wax and a Waxing Iron are the goods which provide you and your board with lots of speed! So check the temperature to choose the right wax! But just waxing your board is not enough, the fine tuning so called scraping off the dispensable wax off your board is what brings the performance. Get yourself a
Scraper as well as a good Brush to srape off the dispensable wax and to brush the base afterwards. Brushing the base, brings everything off and out of it which shouldn’t be on or in the base, so keep on brushing! That was it! Follow the steps and keep taking care of your board or skis from time to time to keep the performance as high as possible.

PS: For the quick tunings before you go for a ride and for the days you don’t have enough time to wax your board properly, but if the base is still good enough, there is also good Rub-On Wax! Check it out!

This is a short clip which shows you how to wax your board! Listen carefully and try it yourself ;-)

Freestyle snowboarding is the most interesting and common style of snowboarding. It involves snowboarding on any natural available territory. It is not like the professional snowboarding sports that requires professional tricks and stunts. The Freestyle snowboarding requires you to perform simple tricks and tactics of your own style. It is best suited for the beginner and intermediate level snowboarders. This type of snowboarding involves friendly matches that could be played and performed in any style.
