It is true! We officially become the Gold Partner of the TTR World Snowboard Tour!  And there is something in it for you too. There is a big prize to be won.

The ‘TTR (Ticket To Ride) PRO SNOWBOARDING’, a non-profit organization, was  founded in 2002 by mastermind Drew Stevenson, together with snowboard legends Terje Haakonsen and Reto Lamm. Since then the tour unifies the biggest and best independent single snowboard events into a world ranking tour.

“For us, The TTR is the only organization that has successfully represented freestyle snowboarding for many years. Furthermore, the riders on the TTR Tour are the best in the world, and we are happy that many Blue Tomato team riders are taking part in the tour.” said Gerfried Schuller, the founder of Blue Tomato and former European Snowbaord Champion.

Jack Reeves, TTR’s Marketing and Partnerships Manager, is also happy about the upgrade and points out Blue Tomato’s great commitment to the snowboard world: “The TTR always strives to be the best competitive freestyle snowboarding tour and through Blue Tomato’s snowboard schools and test centers around Austria, it’s clear we share the same passion. To celebrate this partnership, we from Blue Tomato and the TTR have joined forces for a competition for all snowboard fans. The main prize is a trip for 2 to Oslo/ Norway for the inaugural TTR 6Star World Snowboarding Championships (WSC), which will take place from February 12 to 19 , 2012.

Since 1999, the WSC are the first world championships organized by snowboarders and will be held every four years from now on. In Oslo, snowboarding’s crème de la crème will compete in the disciplines halfpipe and slopestyle.
