BT Downhill Teamrider Petra Bernhard Got 7th in Canada
BT Teamriderin Petra Bernhard holte sich beim UCI Downhill Worldcup in Mont Saint Anne in Canada trotz schwieriger Bedingungen den sensationellen 7.Platz.
Nach einer doch turbulenten Anreise, geprägt von Gepäckverlust, Polizeieskorte etc., kam BT Teamriderin Petra Bernhard endlich in Mont Saint Anne (Kanada) an, wo es am ersten Trainingstag gleich richtig zur Sache ging. Ohne Trackwalk musste sich Petra durch den extrem nebligen und „gatschigen“ Kurs kämpfen. Am Qualifikationstag kam es noch dicker. Die Bedingungen waren verdammt schwierig. Trotzdem fuhr Petra in der Quali in die Top 4. Am Renntag raste Petra dann bei wechselhaften Bedingungen und tiefen Gatschlöchern auf den 7.Platz, worüber sie sich „über alles“ freute. Das nächste Mal greift Petra Bernhard beim Weltcup in Windham/USA an.

Despite very bad weather conditions, BT team rider Petra Bernhard got 7th in UCI Downhill World cup in Mont Saint Anne/Canada.
After a turbulent journey, which was characterized by losing the package and a police escort, Petra arrived in Mt. Saint Anne. First day was fully loaded with action. Without a track walk, Petra struggled through the foggy and mushy course. On the qualifying day the conditions got worse. Nevertheless Petra got 4th in the quali. On the race day, Petra took 7th place in spite of changing conditions and massive mushy holes. She was exceedingly glad. Petra´s next mission: Downhill World cup in Windham/USA.
