21. Juni 2011 – Von früh bis abends auf 4 Rollen unterwegs – Das war der Go Skateboarding Day 2011 mit dem Blue Tomato Shop Graz!
Dieser Tag war allein den leidenschaftlichen Skateboardern auf der ganzen Welt gewidmet. Das lässt sich Blue Tomato nicht zwei mal sagen und bot nicht nur Platz zum Skateboarden, sondern auch ein abwechslungsreiches Programm.
So konnten die Mädels an einem Skateboard Workshop für Girls teilnehmen. Dies wurde natürlich zahlreich genutzt, um die bisherigen Skills zu verbessern und natürlich auch neues dazu zu lernen. Und von wem kann man sich dies besser abschauen als von einer Pro Fahrerin, denn Lisa Veith unsere Blue Tomato Teamriderin stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und gab so einige Tipps.
Auch der Longboard Workshop mit Flex Longboards war ein besonderes Highlight. Denn die Jungs von Flex Longboards fertigen in Handarbeit die ganz speziellen Longboards und kennen sich somit bestens aus! Mit den kultigen Longboards kannst du super den Sommer genießen und entspannt herumcruisen.
Was wäre der Go Skateboarding Day 2011 ohne einem High Ollie Contest. Hier zeigten hochmotivierte Skateboarder ihren höchsten Ollie über eine transportable Bar. Dabei ging es hoch hinaus, denn den Highest Ollie gelangen Michi und Heiko mit jeweils 37inch = 94cm!
Zusammenfassen, war der Go Skateboarding Day eine super Möglichkeit, um sich mit anderen Skateboardern auszutauschen und zu chillen. Die Stimmung war einfach super und wir freuen uns schon auf nächstes Jahr, den Skateboarding Day 2012.

21st June 2011 – From early morning until evening on the road on 4 wheels – this was the Go Skateboarding Day 2011 with the Blue Toamto Shop Graz!
This day was only for the passionate skateboarders around the world. Blue Tomato didn`t need to be told twice and offered not only a place for skateboard, but also a varied program.
So the girls were able to take part in a workshop for girls skateboarding. This was of course used by many skate girls, to improve existing skills and of course to learn new ones. And who is better than a pro rider like Lisa Veith, our Blue Tomato Teamrider stood by you with held and advice and gave some really nice tips.
The longboard workshop with Flex Longboards was a particular highlight. Because the products from Flex Longboards are handmade and therefore very special! Because of this they were the best contact for this workshop. With the very cool longboard you can enjoy the summer and cruising around.
What would be the Go Skateboarding Day 2011 without a High Ollie Contest. Highly motivated skateboarders showed their highest Ollie on a portable bar. They took each other to a very high level, therefore the highest ollie wars reached by Michi and Heiko with 37inch = 94cm!
Summarizing, the Go Skateboarding Day was a great opportunity to share other skateboarders and chill with them. The atmosphere was great and we look forward to next year, the Skateboarding Day 2012.
