Am 3.Juni 2011 wird der Wiener Prater zum Hip Hop-Battlefield Österreichs. Bei Red Bull Beats and Rhymes haben fünf Crews eine Stunde Zeit, um einen Track zu produzieren. Am Ende gewinnt jene Crew, die mit ihrer Interpretation die Stimmung in den Pratergalerien zum Überkochen bringt.
Normalerweisewerden die Kräfte im Wiener Prater bei Autodrom, Hau den Lukas oder in der Schießbude gemessen. Anders jedoch am 3.Juni 2011 im Salon der Pratergalerien. Hier geht es nicht um körperliche Wettkämpfe oder Geschicklichkeitsduelle im Vergnügungspark, sondern um punktgenaues Teamwork von Producer und MC.

Red Bull Beats & Rhymes, das ist ein Sample, ein Thema und 60 Minuten Produktionszeit. Anhand dieser Zutaten müssen fünf Hip Hop Crews, bestehend aus einem MC und einem Producer das anwesende Publikum überzeugen. Klingt spannend? Ist es auch.
Heurige Teilnehmer sind Def Ill & Digga Mindz, Fid Mella & Gerard MC, HSC, Average & Alex, sowie die Gewinner der, auf Radio FM4 Tribe Vibes ausgespielten, Wildcard.
Host des diesjährigen Red Bull Beats & Rhymes ist MC Manuva, seines Zeichens Supercity Artist und Total Chaos MC. Unterstützt wird Manuva von DJ Phekt (Radio FM4). Bei diesem grandiosen nationalen Hip Hop Aufgebot, darf natürlich ein internationaler Act nicht fehlen. Fashawn, auch als The Phenom bekannt, wird den heimischen Hip Hop Fans zeigen, wie sich Rap aus LA im Schatten des Riesenrads anhört. Unterstützt wird er dabei von dem Red Bull Beats and Rhymes Vorjahres Gewinner Demolux.

On the 3th June 2011, the Vienna Prater will change in to a Hip Hop-Battlefield of Austria. At the Red Bull Beats and Rymes have five crews, one hour to produce a track. At the end, the crew will
win, who brings with their interpretation the atmosphere of the Pratergalerie to boil over.

Normally, the forces of the Vienna Prater were measured with hit the Lukas or in a shooting tend. In contrast, on the 3th June 2011, in the salon of the Pratergalerie. This is not about physical competitions on the amusement park, but with teamwork of the producer and the MC.
Red Bull Beats & Rhymes, this is a sample, a theme, and 60 minutes of production time. Based on these ingredients, five hip hop crews, consisting of a MC and a producer, had to convince the audience. Sounds interesting? And it is.
